Students traveling through the Barry B. Thompson Student Center may have recently noticed a box set up by the Student Programming Association requesting suggestions from students on what they would like to see happen regarding the facility.

Students were encouraged to submit suggestions for the entire building, including renovations taking place in the lower level.

"We wanted to see what would draw them to come into the building," Student Programming Association representative Kelli Nehring said.

The box was set up approximately four weeks ago in the TSC, and was collected on Monday. Nehring said the organization will be looking over student opinions from the box for the next week, and will compile a master list of suggestions to present to Donna Strohmeyer, director of Student Activities.

"We chose to do this because we have been looking at other student unions from other states and decided that in order to make our student center better and make our students enjoy it better, then who [would be] better to ask than the students themselves," Nehring said.
