The Student Government Association House of Representatives approved a funding request of the maximum amount of $650 to Block and Bridle.

Representatives Jonathan Watson and Megan Zoch represented the organization, asking for funding to help finance Ag Ball. The event includes an awards ceremony, dinner and dance for students and teachers of the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences. The allotted funds would help cover the cost of decorations, prizes and awards, food and rental fees of a facility at City Limits.

The council voted to approve the request and granted Block and Bridle their full request. Approval of the request brings the SGA House's semester budget to a total $419.50, to last for the remainder of this academic year.

The SGA House meets weekly on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. in Room 102 of the Science building.
