On Tuesday, the annual Fall Carnival was hosted by the office of Student Activities and the Student Programming Association. In attendnce were 52 of Tarleton's student organizations that participated to raise money for their clubs or philanthropic causes.
"All of ours [money raised] is going to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. We are trying to get a whole bunch of money donated. We set a goal of like $2000," said Bryce Hickman of Kappa Delta Rho.
Phi Mu was raising money for the Children's Miracle Network. Other organizations, such as the Engineer's Club were raising money for their functions.
"We are raising funds for basically going places and maybe even a workshop for acting, such as stage combat or auditioning and things like that," said Tessa Reynolds, Vice President of the Tarleton Players.
The booths had activities geared toward children such as a petting zoo, duck pond and a dunk tank. Children dressed in various costumes came escorted by their parents from Stephenville and the surrounding areas.
