David Coleman

Nationally recognized motivational speaker David Coleman will present "20 Key Points Every Freshman Should Know" at 9 p.m., Wednesday, September 19 in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms. The event is sponsored by the Student Programming Association.

Coleman, known nationwide as "The Dating Doctor," has spoken to students at Duck Camp. He's been recognized 10 times as "National Speaker of the Year," featured in many magazines, including US Magazine, Glamour, The Wall Street Journal.

Coleman has also appeared on news programs on channels such as ABC, NBC, FOX and CNN

"20 Key Points Every Freshman Should Know" is a program designed to help give new students information to succeed in their first year of college.

Coleman provides critical information for the first year students in this upbeat, highly motivational session created especially for the freshman set.

In an atmosphere that is fun and humorous yet highly challenging, student will discuss and learn about everything from; how to live on a limited budget, how to manage their newly-found freedom and getting involved on campus.
