Evaluations switch from in-class, to DuckTrax

Tarleton's teacher evaluations will soon change from in class to online on DuckTrax, according to Dr. Dwayne Snider, professor and associate vice-president for Academic Affairs. Students and faculty alike will be able to view the results online. Last semester some evaluations were done online.

The time to celebrate the findings and discoveries of the Waco Mammoth Site is finally arriving. Nearly 30 years ago, two men, while out exploring and looking for fossils and artifacts, stumbled across a bone, thus beginning the long and tedious process of uncovering the bones of at least 25 mammoths.

It's that time of year when there is a big turkey and plenty to eat. At Thanksgiving everything seems to be so good that in the end we become stuffed turkeys ourselves. From pecan pies to hot dinner rolls, how could any resist such good food? Even though Thanksgiving comes once a year, the feeling of overeating does not feel that well in the end.

Senate Dr. Wanda Mercer, vice president for Student Life attended this week's Senate meeting and discussed the possibility of increasing the student services fee. The fee increase would have to pass both the Student Government Association House and Senate, and will be presented in the spring.
