The No. 7 Tarleton Texans traveled to Angelo State Saturdays with the goal of getting a win and staying in the tie for first place of the Lone Star Conference South Division. The Texans were led to their 21-14 victory by a strong pass and catch game from quarterback Scott Grantham and receiver Devin Guinn and a record game by running back Roderick Smith.

The Tarleton TexAnn golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their 2009-2010 season, following four tournaments. The TexAnns took first place at the Lady Buff Stampede and Central Oklahoma Invitational, while taking second at the Angelo State Invitational, and took sixth at Queens University Top 18 Invitational, which hosted the top 18 ranked teams.
