New residence hall set for fall 2010
The new 300 bed, 150 room residence hall is set to be completed for the fall 2010 semester. The new hall will be constructed next to Centennial Hall where Crockett Hall and Summit Apartments once stood. "We should start to move dirt next week," said Vice President for Student Life Wanda Mercer.

1On Monday, Nov. 9, a construction fence will be put up in the P30 parking lot between Tarleton Street and Lillian Street. The sidewalks on Tarleton, Lillian and Washington Street will be open for pedestrian traffic. Handicap and reserved parking will be relocated to the north side of P30 next to Tarleton Street.

SGA briefs

SENATE The Student Government Association will be hosting the "Layers of H.O.P.E." philanthropy event on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 8-10 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center Ballrooms. They will be taking donations of canned food and clothes, which will be given to Project H.
