'Resistance 2' surpasses original
The annual lull in video game production has come once again, which finally gives me a chance to review some of the games from this past holiday season that I didn't have time to do before. "Resistance 2" comes to us from Insomniac Games, the same people who made such memorable classics as the first three "Spyro the Dragon" games, all of the "Ratchet and Clank" games and "Resistance: Fall of Man.

The Poles, an Indie rock band, will release their first full-length album, "Twelve Winds" on April 14. The 11-track album is a change from the previous three EP's the band put out. Focus track numbers for this album are one, two, three, five, seven and 10.

Crowd serenaded at last Wind Ensemble concert of the year
A small crowd enjoyed musical stylings of the last Wind Ensemble concert of the year. Special guests were Dr. Elizabeth Wade, interim voice professor at Tarleton, and Diana Solomon-Glover, vocal artist from New York, with Steve Chambers on piano. The first piece played was "Grand Promenade at the White House" by John Phillip Sousa from the "Suite Tales of a Traveler.
